About me
As Associate Curator of Digital Learning & Research at the Williams College Museum of Art, Beth Fischer uses digital and computational methods to research and interpret the museum's collection, and teaches these approaches to students at the college. Her current projects involve critical cataloging, technical imaging (pXRF, FORS, IR), 3d modeling, and digital storytelling strategies. In addition to teaching Introduction to Digital Humanities for Art History and Comparative Literature and courses on data in museums, she continues to research in her original field of early medieval art.
