This session, presented by PCC EMCO Wikidata Registry Coordinators, will introduce the group and its work over the past year supporting Wikidata as a shared platform for entity management within the Entity Management Cooperative (EMCO). The presenters will provide an overview of the application profile developed for representing corporate bodies in Wikidata, covering its key modeling choices along with the most important property, qualifier, and reference requirements. The remainder of the session will be hands-on: attendees will use a curated dataset of corporate bodies to create and edit Wikidata items directly, applying the application profile in practice, with Coordinators available throughout to answer questions and troubleshoot.
